Liz and Matts Unforgettable Villa Parker Wedding

Villa Parker is the type of spot that mixes relaxed vibes with stunning backdrops. If you’re dreaming of a wedding where you can get the best of both worlds—luxury and connection to nature—this venue is it! Liz and Matt’s wedding was the perfect example of what happens when you pick the right place, with the right vibe, for your big day!

Liz and Matt’s Wedding at Villa Parker

Liz and Matt’s wedding at Villa Parker was the kind of day that makes you excited to be a wedding photographer. From the moment I arrived, everything felt so natural and easygoing, which made capturing their day a breeze. One of the most touching moments was Liz’s first look with her dad—there was so much emotion in that moment, setting the tone for the entire day. It was real, personal, and filled with meaning. Liz and Matt decided to do a first look, which was a great choice because it gave them a private moment before the ceremony. When Matt saw Liz for the first time, his reaction was priceless and it made for such a sweet, intimate moment.

After the first look, Liz and Matt’s outdoor ceremony took place in front of the venue's beautiful fountain, which was decorated with gorgeous florals. The setting was perfect, and the intimate vibe of the ceremony felt just right for this couple. You could really feel the love and connection between them as they exchanged their vows in such a picturesque location.

Following the ceremony, we moved into the reception, which was a true celebration. Liz and Matt made a smart move by eating their dinner in between cocktail hour and when guests were seated, allowing them a quiet moment together to enjoy their meal. Afterward, they had plenty of time to mingle with their guests while everyone else ate, ensuring they didn’t feel rushed during the evening.

Once the reception buzzed with energy, we made time for portraits around the venue. We used all areas of Villa Parker to capture a variety of unique shots, moving through the beautiful spaces to highlight the venue’s stunning details. The golden hour light was incredible, and I’m so glad we stepped away from the party for a few moments to grab those dreamy sunset portraits. The photos from this wedding have actually been featured a few times by Kleinfeld Bridal!

Why Choose Villa Parker for your Wedding Venue?

Villa Parker isn’t just another wedding venue—it’s an experience! When you step onto the property, you can immediately tell that it’s not just about the setting, it’s about how everything comes together. The location and the atmosphere make it ideal for any couple looking to keep things real and easy, while still getting those beautiful, high-quality moments you want in your photos.

Here’s why I think it’s such a solid choice for a destination wedding:

  • Mediterranean Style with Tuscan Charm: Villa Parker has that Mediterranean vibe that’s warm and welcoming, with all the right touches of Tuscan charm. Think archways, dark wood accents, and Spanish tiles. The venue is designed to feel cozy, yet sophisticated—making it perfect for a wedding that’s both relaxed and high-end. It’s the kind of venue that feels timeless without being overdone.

  • Outdoor Spaces for Days: Whether you’re getting married by the fountain or having a laid-back cocktail hour on the patio, the architecture here gives you that beautiful outdoor look you can’t beat.

  • Flexibility: You’ve got options! Whether you want a simple ceremony outside or need a bigger indoor space for the reception, Villa Parker’s got you covered. This isn’t a venue that forces you into one style or flow—you can really make it your own! They have open patios for outdoor cocktail hours or reception, outdoor ceremony spots and a grand ballroom for a reception!

  • Private and Peaceful: It’s tucked away on private grounds, so you and your guests don’t have to worry about outside distractions. It’s the perfect spot if you’re looking for a more intimate feel for your wedding day.

Planning a Wedding at Villa Parker

When you’re planning a wedding at Villa Parker, there are a couple of things to keep in mind to make sure everything runs smoothly. Here’s what you’ll want to think about:

  • Weather Prep: Colorado’s weather can be unpredictable, so it’s smart to be ready for anything. While the outdoor areas are great for photos and ceremonies, the indoor options are just as solid if you need to move things inside. Always good to have a backup plan.

  • Golden Hour: The sunset here? Seriously, don’t miss it. If there’s one thing you should definitely make time for, it’s stepping away from the reception and getting those golden hour portraits. Trust me, it makes all the difference in your photos.

  • Floral Touches: One of the best parts of this venue is how easy it is to work with its natural beauty. The greenery around Villa Parker works perfectly with florals, so you don’t have to do too much to make it look amazing. Liz and Matt worked with their florist to keep things fresh and nature-inspired, and it worked perfectly!
